Blood Drive

We assist with preparing the evening meal at a local outreach to the hungry in Ann Arbor.

We contribute food and financial support to the local community food pantry.

Food Gatherers
We support a local organization that “rescues” food, making it available to soup kitchens and food pantries in the area. Service Dates: (currently not visiting due to covid-19)

Giving Garden
Each year hundreds of pounds of fresh produce are harvested from our communal garden and donated to local food pantries. Members plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables and herbs to help feed the hungry and those in need who struggle for fresh produce. A one-week annual service trip in July to an area in the United States hit by a natural disaster.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Those who are a part of this ministry knit, crochet or quilt shawls and lap robes which are prayed over and then delivered to who are in times of illness, personal crisis, grief, or trauma. Lovingly crafted, each prayer shawl or lap robe is prayed over by two or more ministry members before it is delivered. Prayers are then said with the recipient when the prayer shawl or lap robe is delivered. The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the first Saturday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Office of the Country Church. (currently not meeting due to covid-19)
