The eighth grade program uses the Catholic Connections curriculum by St. Mary’s Press. Each session begins with a community gathering time of 7th-8th grades where a common topic is discussed and we pray before we break out into small grade-level groups in a classroom setting. Each child will receive their personal Catholic Connections Handbook and they will use this handbook from 6th-8th grades. Eighth grade students will study Christian morality and prayer. They will discuss how Jesus Christ gave us the New Law to fulfill and complete the Old Law. They will also explore moral decision making and honoring God and family.
